» A man from a private number, David Brown, claimed that they were going to serve me papers tomorrow between 3pm-5pm and left this number and case number. First was not even my current last name, second I checked all the counties I ve lived in and there is nothing on file either by name or document number. He proceeded to call my husband s phone number as well. This has to be a scam. I ve written everything down and will be calling a lawyer if they continue harassing me. My number is on a do not call list so this is harrassment regardless. «

She said she would be trying between 3-5pm tomorrow to serve me and get my signature. She said if I did not accept service that would be noted, the case would go forward and I would miss my court date. She said to plan my day accordingly. ?? She left a call back number and a case number. «

It was very hard to understand her,she was reading quickly and the sound of the call was poor. This was all quite surprising and shocking because I have received no other phone calls and nothing in the mail about whatever this matter is and I know of no reason why I would be sued in a civil case or have a criminal case pending against me.I googled the phone number and saw that calls from this number are a scam. As a retired attorney I was very doubtful the call was legitimate but I was still concerned and I wonder how many other people are being taken in by this. «

» This number, 727-361-9165 left a voicemail message on my recorder. Gave me her name of Savannah Simmons and said she had tried several times to get my signature on a legal document to serve me. She also stated (in her garbled voice that I had to play back at least 6 times to understand) that if I don t call back she would proceed to put the legal paper work through by the next day at 5:00pm!! She even went as far as to phone our adult son who lives in a completely different state and left the same message with him! Hubby and I do not answer ANY phone number we don t know, nor will call back due to these scammers. «
